on our honeymoon
twelve years back, romance bloomed with
hills got draped with purple love
a rarity romancing
pink is for girls, while
blue is for boys, never knew
who created bias?
maybe kinder joy covers
should turn a fluid purple
the bleeds beneath my
skin-scars in shades of purple-
tattoos of my strength
battling a war forever
I'm a purple warrior
stood out amidst all the blooms
they're smiles of all seasons
gentle reminders of life
why limit to thesun's red or oceanic blue
mystic purple hugs
in the expanse 'tween sky & earth
a cosmic love of thetwo
*neelakurinji is a wonder flower that blooms once in 12 years in the hills of Western Ghats.
